Voters in 16 states and one territory headed to the polls in the largest contest so far in the 2024 presidential primary. One state, Alaska, held only a Republican contest. And Iowa and American Samoa held only Democratic contests. Donald Trump won emphatically, winning all states except Vermont.
These states and territory were Alabama, Alaska, American Samoa, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and the U.S. territory of American Samoa.
Donald Trump won emphatically, winning all states except Vermont. Haley took the Green Mountain State where Democrats can vote in the Republican primary. It is assumed that the Bernie Sanders fan club voted for Hayley to deny Trump the state’s 50%+1 “winner takes all delegates” system in place there. Haley didn’t seriously threaten Trump in any other states and today announced the suspension of her campaign.
With California, @realDonaldTrump‘s delegate lead is now 942 to 72, unheard-of in a “competitive” non-incumbent cycle. https://t.co/YtdjkYEC0D

President Biden won in all fifteen states, but he lost in the U.S. territory of American Samoa to a Democratic challenger named Jason Palmer, which suggests that the further from the Beltway you live the more sense you have.
In California, Rep. Adam Schiff (D) and Republican Steve Garvey won nominations to the U.S. Senate seat and will face off in the general election. At last, a Republican with great name recognition stands a chance in the imploding Golden State.
In Texas, Rep. Lizzie Fletcher (D) held off her far-left challenger, Houston District Attorney Kim Ogg lost her race, and despised Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan was forced into a runoff by Trump-backed David Covey.
